Restorative Dentistry.

Direct Restorations - Fillings placed immediately into a cavity in a single visit.
Our dentists prepare the tooth, place the filling and adjust it in one sitting.

  • Composite Fillings - Also known as "bonding", these fillings are a mixture of glass and quartz filler in a resin medium that produces a tooth-colored restoration. Composite fillings provide good durability and have the added benefit of looking like a natural tooth. They last about 10 years.

Indirect Restorations – These restorations are called "indirect" because they are made outside the mouth and then permanently cemented onto the tooth. These restorations are commonly made of porcelain, but sometimes gold is used on back teeth. These fillings and crowns are the only way to restore a damaged or decayed tooth permanently, for your whole lifetime. Please note that these restorations are completely undetecable: modern dentistry means no more dark metal showing along the gumline of a repaired tooth.
